Within the land, next to Goudargues, nicknamed “la Venise gardoise” due to the abundant water sources and charming canals surrounding it, the Domaine du Sablas is a family vineyard spreading across these legendary lands in the heart of the Côte-du-Rhône appellation.
The vines of the Domain du Sablas flourish over twenty hectares and draw from that precious soil the singular expression, balance and authenticity of Arnaud Camproux’s wines.

The Arnaud Camproux family, has been growing alongside the vines since 1924. Gustave, his great grandfather, saw the modernization of the vines and field work, passing from horses to machines. Soon after, André, his grandfather, brought the very first Syrah grape to the Rhône valley soils. It was at this moment that the Sablas story took root.
Alain, Gustave’s grandson, continued cultivating vines and passed this passion to his son, Arnaud, who modernized the Domain du Sablas while keeping more traditional and eco-friendly methods.
That’s the reason why these precious Sablas grapes are picked and sorted by hand, and then aged for long months in barrels, and more recently in terracotta amphorae for some vintages.

An intense nose of grapefruit and fresh fruit, a tangy mouthfeel and a saline finish for a wine that transports you to the gates of Provence.
SABLAS BLANC
It’s with patience that Arnaud waits for in order to obtain these golden brown grapes, to extract a mature wine with a remarkable freshness.

Night had long since fallen. As I filled up my barrel with black wine, I saw shining stars reflecting in it. It suddenly occurred to me that pairs of stars were diving into the cask and that each star had a face. I stood there, fascinated by the soft and singular spectacle of these embracing stars who, as they dreamt, were dripping upon the wood.
